Opening of the Christmas Markets

A magical start that will enchant guests and residents alike and marks the official opening of the most luminous and evocative time of year in Merano.

The Merano Christmas Markets will officially open on 27th November at 5 pm. The opening ceremony on the terrace of the Kurhaus will start the Advent season, rich in atmosphere and tradition.

From 5.30 pm, the Sunshine Gospel Choir will accompany the evening with its engaging and festive music.

The Christmas houses will remain open until 7 p.m., inviting visitors to stroll among the lights and scents of Christmas in the historic centre.
