The Via Ferrata Bergkristall is beautifully situated just before Pfelders, above Moos in Passeier. It is an ideal practice via ferrata and is particularly suitable for beginners. The terrain provides an excellent opportunity to gain your first experience on a steel cable route without having to tackle demanding sections. It is perfect for learning the basics of via ferrata climbing, improving your technique and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding natural landscape at the same time.
Directions: From the Bergkristall car park or bus stop, continue towards Pfelders until you reach the wooden bridge over the Pfeldererbach stream. With the bridge on your right, you will find the entrance to the via ferrata immediately to the right. Alternatively, you can turn left and join the via ferrata halfway along the route.

• Coming from the Jaufenpass towards St. Leonhard, take the Jaufenstraße SS44, continue towards Moos on the Timmelsjochstraße and continue on the SP114 to Pfelders
