City Library Sinigo

A combined public and school library in Sinich, offering books, learning spaces and cultural activities for both students and local residents.

The Sinigo Municipal Library is a branch of the Merano Municipal Library. It is located at Via Piedemionte 1 in the modern primary school building in Sinigo. The library was established as a combined school and public library, allowing students and local residents to use the same facilities. Its collection includes books, magazines, children's literature, and multimedia resources in German and Italian. Registered users can borrow materials, order items through the library network, and access the services of the Merano library system. The library also organizes reading activities and educational programs, particularly for schools and families in the surrounding area. The building is wheelchair accessible and provides a quiet space for reading and studying.
Public transport
From Merano train station, we recommend taking bus line 210. Get off at the Piazza Vittorio Veneto stop. From there, the library is just a 2-minute walk away.
