The Burgstallknott climbing crag in Partschins is a small but varied climbing area in a scenic location. It is particularly suitable for beginners, families, and children, while also offering enjoyable routes for more experienced climbers.
Some of the climbing routes feature a top anchor that can be reached via a short and easy via ferrata, allowing climbers to set up their own rope for top-rope climbing. As this is a natural rock face, extra care should be taken when installing the rope.
The crag offers magnificent panoramic views of Partschins, the Merano region, and the surrounding South Tyrolean mountains.
Regular guided climbing tours for children are offered with an experienced mountain guide. Registration and information are available at the Partschins, Rabland and Töll Tourist Office.
