Become a cheesemaker yourself: Cheese workshop at the Algund dairy
As part of an impressive workshop, you can prepare your own fresh cheese together with the Algund cheesemaker Edith. The milk used for this is of the highest quality and mainly comes from cows grazing on the southern slopes of the Texelgruppe Nature Park above Algund. The pristine nature, fresh grass, and clear air of South Tyrol are ultimately reflected in the cheese.
You will learn fascinating details about the history, production, and distribution of the Algund dairy, as well as much about the dairy farming industry in South Tyrol.
You can then take your freshly made cheese home and enjoy it with your loved ones.
