Workshop in Italian: Queens, stitches and foxes.

Starting from an analysis of the structure and still undiminished power of the fairy tale, the training course offers an exploration of the many approaches and different interpretations that authors and illustrators have brought to the genre through the language of the picture book and the artist’s book, from Munari to Lavater, from Blexbolex to Enzo Mari, from Guarnaccia to Pacovska, together with many other major contemporary artists.
Hamelin is an association devoted to reading education. Its activities revolve around children’s literature, comics, and illustration, based on the guiding principle that reading is a fundamental aesthetic act through which we find meaning in ourselves and in the world. They work throughout Italy with children, adolescents, and with the adults who engage with them in schools, libraries, and educational settings.
