Traveling with Tisner Reisen: Livigno and St. Moritz

A trip through the Vinschgau Valley and over the Ofen pass to Livigno, the duty-free area of Italy, plus lunch break. Up until 1951, Livigno was cut off from the rest of the world for six months out of the year and can be described as a kind of ʻnon-exclaveʼ. This resulted in the town being given the nickname of Little Tibet. We continue over the Forcula pass and the Bernina pass to the famous spa town of St. Moritz in Switzerland, where we will take a break. If you like, you may also travel on the “Bernina Express” (approx. 35mins). The journey back to your resort takes us via Zernez to Glurns, where weʼll take a short break.
