Naturno South Tyrolean Speck Feast - CANCELLED

Culinary Craft and Tradition
On the 24th May, this first-ever South Tyrolean Speck Day in Naturno/Naturns is set to host a wide-ranging supporting programme, promoting original, certified South Tyrolean Speck. Starting at 10.00 am, the event will take place regardless of the weather conditions.
At the various producer stands, one can learn about the production methods of South Tyrolean speck as well as the chance to sample a wide variety of both traditional and innovative local delicacies. South Tyrolean Speck (with g.g.A. EU certification) is unique to the South Tyrolean region. The curing process involves the minimal use of salt and the ham is lightly smoked, with plenty of natural aeration. These are just some of the secrets behind the distinctive flavour of South Tyrolean Speck.
With the emphasis on sustainability, the South Tyrolean Speck Day event is organised by the South Tyrolean Speck Consortium in conjunction with the Naturno Tourist Cooperative.
