In winter some sections of the route may be covered in snow or ice.
Taking the path below the local Tourist Office, proceed along the Passer river as far as the intersection then turn right and cross Granner bridge. Turn right again towards Meran/Merano as far as the Lazag recreation area and continue uphill and through the underpass running under the main road. On arriving at the Winterpromenade spa promenade and the Sissi park, one can make out the Sommerpromenade spa promenade and the Merano Kurhaus from the Postbrücke bridge.
From Meran/Merano to the Passeiertal Valley in direction of Timmelsjoch Mountain Pass/Jaufenpass Mountain Pass until Riffian/Rifiano.
