The walk starts at the Texelbahn cable car valley station. From here, trail 1 leads towards the Winklerhof inn, passing through open terrain and light woodland.

From the Winklerhof inn, the route continues westwards along the Rabland irrigation channel path to Happichl Inn. This marks the start of the more demanding ascent on trail 26, which climbs up to the Sonnenberg Panoramic Trail 91.

The panoramic trail runs at an almost constant altitude and offers spectacular views over the Vinschgau Valley, the Sonnenberg mountain slope and the villages of the Adige Valley (Vinschgau). The unique steppe-like vegetation makes this hike particularly distinctive.

Shortly before reaching Naturns, the path descends into the village. Here, visitors can explore the famous St Prokulus Church and the Prokulus Museum.
