Magic of lights in Avelengo: Excursion with lanterns to secret viewpoints

Did you know that there are several well-known and lesser-known viewpoints in Hafling? Our hiking guides, Waltraud and Gerlinde, show us the best places to admire the sunset. The lanterns we have brought illuminate our path through the quiet, wintry countryside. At the Kanzele viewpoint, we not only enjoy the view of the city of Merano beautifully illuminated for Christmas, but also awarming tea (collected before departure from the information office). Afterwards, we return together.

Approach

By public transport: Bus route no. 225 - bus stop ‘Tankstelle Hafling’, walk to the information office (approx. 5 minutes).

By car: From Meran in the direction of Hafling. Shortly before the petrol station in Hafling turn left towards Falzeben, at the bend turn left to the information office. Free car park above the information office on the right-hand side: Parkplatz Nusser
