On clear days, you can also admire the Dolomites, the Brenta Group, and the Ortler in the distance.
Accessible from Naturno on foot, by bus, shuttles, and the Unterstell cable car, the Merano High Mountain Trail stretches for 90 kilometers between 1,500 and 2,850 meters in elevation. The route can be completed over several days or in its individual stages.
The complete circuit of the Tessa Group takes four to six days. Along the route, there are many alpine restaurants and refuges where you can stop and savor local specialties. Overnight stays must be booked by phone. In the alpine environment, good physical condition and proper equipment are essential.
