The family-friendly Merano 2000 ski area is loacated on the sunny Tschögglberg mountain plateau above the spa town of Merano/Meran. The skiing and hiking area below the Ifinger mountain is perfect for families and recreational skiers. The excellent and well-planned chairlift network at Merano 2000 enables an effortless ascent without long waiting times.

Many of the 40km of total ski slopes in the Merano 2000 ski area are of medium difficulty. Snowboarders visiting the new Snow Park of the ski resort near the Waidmannalm mountain hut will also get their money’s worth. Ski and snowboard equipment can be rented locally.

Three magic carpets and wide and shallow slopes make Luckis Kinderland the perfect training ground for children. The ski school and the ski kindergarten are supervised by professional and experienced ski instructors and form part of the Specialized Children's Ski Schools in South Tyrol (Spezialisierte Kinderskischulen Südtirols).

All the equipment needed for a day in the snow can be rented at the ski stations in the Merano 2000 ski area; material can also be stored at the ski depot overnight.
