Geocaching on the Tschögglberg Plateau

Thrilling treasure hunts in Hafling - Vöran - Meran 2000 in South Tyrol

Above the villages of Hafling/Avelengo and Vöran/Verano, the majestic Tschögglberg high plateau in South Tyrol is criss-crossed by a dense trail network also suited to families with children. Treasure-hunting while exploring the forests and meadows generates even more excitement. Geocaching combines physical movement with the thrill of a treasure-hunt (a Geocache). The treasure could be hidden anywhere: even behind a tree or under a stone.

The cache container holds a logbook that participants need to sign. The whereabouts of cache locations is provided digitally or in analogue form.

Nature Tour - an exciting treasure hunt

We will guide you to eight especially beautiful and powerful natural places in our region all of which are marked and numbered on the map. There is an appropriate clue for each place. You need to find a wooden template with a picture on it and then copy it into the correct space on your sheet.

Once every location has been visited and all of the images found and correctly entered on the map, the map can be handed in to one of the tourist information offices in Hafling, Mölten/Meltina or Jenesien/San Genesio.

The map is available at the Tourist Offices in Hafling, Mölten and Jenesien or from your host.
The treasure hunt can also be done by geocaching.
CulTour - part two of the exciting treasure hunt

The CulTour treasure hunt is the second in series and will take you to the loveliest cultural spots in our region.

We will guide you to eight cultural places, all of which are marked and numbered on the map.
Each place has a corresponding question with several possible solutions. You can find the correct answer there and then transfer it to the map.
Is your CulTour card full? Then come and collect your surprise in on of the information offices from Hafling, Mölten or Jenesien!

CulTour for geocaching experts: Geocachers who have found four cultural treasures will be rewarded with an exclusive cultural cache at a secret location.
