Three designated
MTB trails for descents on
mountain bikes cover the sunny mountain plateau in Hafling/Avelengo, Meran 2000 and Vöran/Verano. These trails include easy routes, as well as more challenging tours rising up to circa 2000m a.s.l.. Thrilling and spectacular 360 degree panoramic views can be seen all along the pasture and forest roads. However, along the routes
hikers always take precedence.
The mountain plateau is accessible by car, the
Meran 2000 Cable Car, the
Burgstall/Postal-Vöran Cable Car and the
Falzeben-Piffing / Meran 2000 Cable car.
Mountain bikes can be rented from several rental points and a few hotels in Hafling, Vöran and Meran 2000.
