As a region in the mountains, South Tyrol relies on the smooth running of public transport and has therefore created an integrated transport system. Local public transport is mainly provided by trains, buses and shuttle services. Mountain railways, cable cars and gondolas also play an important role in the mountains.

Your bike always by your side, but under certain conditions
On public transport, the carriage of bicycles is subject to a charge and limited for reasons of space and safety. The purchase of tickets does not imply a right for a reservation of places for bikes. In the event of overcrowding, the on-board staff reserves the right to refuse access to bicycles.
