In June, July and August the historical town centre of Lana offers "Long" Thursdays. For many years these evenings are very popular among visitors and locals as they bring enjoyment and a varied entertainment programme during the late hours on hot summer days.
During the mild summer evenings between the end of June and mid-August, late night shopping and entertainment is on offer in Lana until late in the evening. In Lana the pedestrian zone, visitors can enjoy eight "Long Thursdays", when shops remain open until 9.30 pm.
Food stands run by prestigious restaurants in Lana and its surrounding areas, craft stands selling authentic South Tyrolean products, and original live music are also featured.
Each Thursday, the versatile program is based around a specific theme. These evenings represent tradition and culture and bring the center of Lana to life through a wide range of diverse and attractive offerings for the entire family.
On Thursdays all participating shops, restaurants and food booths in the centre of Lana are open until late. So, once a week the pedestrian area turns into a big party for the young and young-at-heart. The later the evening the more fun!
