Throughout South Tyrol there are almost 2000 km of cross-country skiing trails. In Merano and Environs too there are possibilities for cross-country skiing, for example in the romantic Plan in Val Passiria/Passeiertal or past ancient farmsteads in Val d’Ultimo/Ultental.
