Discover adventurous family hikes in nature.

The hiking paradise of South Tyrol offers not only numerous high-alpine tours but also diverse opportunities for a varied family vacation in the great outdoors. In addition to the gently sloping "Waalwege" paths that wind along old irrigation channels offering wonderful views, families can also explore themed trails. These paths, specially designed for children, are equipped with interactive stations that playfully impart knowledge about the region's nature and history.

For families with children eager to explore the mountains, cable cars provide a convenient way to quickly reach higher altitudes without tackling long ascents. From there, many easy mountain hikes start, well-suited for little adventurers. These routes often lead to picturesque mountain lakes or viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas. Along the way, cozy mountain huts invite you to take a break, where you can sample regional delicacies and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Refreshing waters such as crystal-clear mountain lakes and small streams not only offer a welcome cool-down on warm days but also provide a perfect spot for a relaxed family picnic. Surrounded by tranquil forests and majestic peaks, it's a wonderful place to unwind amidst untouched nature and cherish quality family time together.

To plan the perfect family hiking vacation, it's advisable to seek advice directly from the local tourist office. Here, you can receive tips and recommendations tailored to the family's individual needs and preferences.

The grape harvest in Marling is almost here!🍇🍷

The vineyards are filled with ripe grapes, and the grape harvest will begin soon. For our local winemakers, one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year is just around the corner. 🍇

Did you know that the harvest doesn’t start on a fixed date? Grapes are only picked when the balance of sugar, acidity and aromas is just right. That’s why every grape variety – and sometimes even every vineyard – is harvested at a different time. 🍷🌿

Over the coming weeks, you may spot local winemakers harvesting the grapes and get a glimpse of one of the most important moments of the wine-growing year. ☀️🍇
