Botanical treasure hunt

On your marks - get set - go! For families with children from 6 to 14 years. Admission from 10.15 a.m. every half-hour.

The botanical treasure hunt will take place on Easter Monday in German and Italian!

Search for the "botanical Easter egg" in a fun treasure hunt in the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. The Garden guides accompany children and adults on an exciting flower tour during the treasure hunt. The trail ends with a practical part where participants can make their own special Easter egg and decorate it with natural colours and floral motifs.

Approach

Bus numbers 1 and 4 depart at 20-minute intervals from the Merano/Meran town centre as well as the central railway station.

To bring along

Almost all of the paths running through the gardens are wheelchair and stroller friendly; all stairs and grades over 8% are marked on the overview map. In the Visitors’ Center, manual and electric-powered wheelchairs are available for visitors, free of charge.
