Urania Meran

urania meran was founded in 1923 and is South Tyrol's oldest center of further education. It offers a varied program, bridging the gap between basic training, popular culture and academic studies. It is located on Ortweinstraße/Via Ortwein 6.
Public transport
At Merano train station take either the bus no. 1 or bus no. 4 and get off at the Elisabeth Park stop at via Cavour. From there it is a five-minute walk to via Ortwein.
Description to arrive at destination
Urania is easy to reach from the city center: it takes about 5 minutes on foot. By bike, follow the bike path past the Merano Thermal Baths, then turn left onto via Ortwein. The path is shared by pedestrians and cyclists, please be considerate of others.
Parking
There are reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities in the Therme car park.

You will find bicycle parking spaces at the entrance. Take care not to park bicycles and e-scooters carelessly. They can pose a danger to blind and visually impaired people as they create obstacles to safely walking along paths and finding entrances. People in wheelchairs and parents with pushchairs can also be hindered by carelessly parked bicycles. Please use the bicycle parking spaces provided.
