Naturns is proud to host the 20th National Riesling Competition this year. On July 1, 2026, a professional jury composed of national and international experts and wine connoisseurs will evaluate the submitted Riesling wines from various regions of Italy, placing particular emphasis on the highest quality and typicity. The Rieslings from the 2024 vintage will be tasted.
The technical management of the competition has been entrusted to Mr. Ulrich Pedri from the Laimburg Research Centre.
The award ceremony for the best Rieslings in Italy and the recognition of the respective regional winners will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, during the Merano Wine Festival at the Kurhaus Meran.
