50 years of Nature Park Texelgruppe/Gruppo di Tessa | geological hike

A varied hike with panoramic views, nature experiences and fascinating insights into geology.
We take the “Grünboden Express” gondola from Pfelders up to the Grünboden Hut, the starting point of this scenic panoramic trail. The route continues via Faltschnal Alp and Lazinser Hof to Lazins Alm.
After a lunch break, return to Pfelders along the forest road or, alternatively, from Lazinser Hof follow trail no. 24/8 via Zeppichl.
The panoramic views and the impressive geological structures of the Schneeberg unit along the northern flank of the Pfelders valley are truly remarkable. Along the trail, the paragneiss formations and their structures are clearly visible, offering a special highlight for geology enthusiasts.

Equipment: suitable clothing and sturdy hiking boots; if needed, packed lunch and drinks. Refreshment stops are available along the route.

Information: the cost of the Grünboden Express lift ride and any refreshments (e.g. lunch) are not included. Participation in the hike is free of charge.
