The route starts at the valley station of the Unterstell cable car, continues along the Schießstandweg to the start of trail no. 10, and then follows this trail up to the Unterstell mountain station. The route covers 760 metres of elevation gain over a distance of 4.2 km. The terrain is varied, with both steep and flat sections.
