Naturno/Naturns has one of the lowest amounts of precipitation in the Eastern Alps. With 315 days of sunshine a year, you will wait expectantly for another welcome rainfall! The pleasantly mild climate is influenced by warm southern air currents, which flow from the Merano basin into the western part of Naturno. In the middle of February, when the surrounding mountain peaks are still covered in snow, spring is already in bloom here. Due to the Mediterranean-influenced climate, the vegetation is also particularly diverse. In addition to the wide variety of apple varieties cultivated around Naturno, fruits that are usually associated with locations further south are also grown. Some home gardens in Naturno grow figs and kiwis, grapes thrive at up to 900 m above sea level, and even lemons bloom here. This friendship with the sun shapes the area and its people, and helps culture and nature to blossom at their finest.

On Tuesday, conditions will remain variably cloudy. At times, the sun may shine through the veil of high cloud. Wednesday will bring persistent low stratus in some valleys. Elsewhere, a generally fair mix of sunshine and cloud is expected. On Thursday, conditions will continue with a combination of low stratus and sunshine. Friday will be largely cloudy, with light precipitation possible in southern areas.

A transient ridge of high pressure will determine the weather in South Tyrol, accompanied by a temporary northerly föhn.
Along the mountains of the main Alpine ridge, residual cloud will continue to break up, becoming fairly sunny during the afternoon. In the southern mountain groups, sunshine will be widespread with only a few harmless clouds. In exposed areas, a strong and cold northerly wind will be blowing.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A warm front will be steered towards the Alps by a northwesterly upper-level flow.
Cloud and fog will reduce visibility, especially along the main Alpine ridge and in the Ortler Group. At times, light snowfall is possible in these areas. Further south and across the Dolomites, conditions will be variably cloudy with some sunshine.
