Naturno/Naturns has one of the lowest amounts of precipitation in the Eastern Alps. With 315 days of sunshine a year, you will wait expectantly for another welcome rainfall! The pleasantly mild climate is influenced by warm southern air currents, which flow from the Merano basin into the western part of Naturno. In the middle of February, when the surrounding mountain peaks are still covered in snow, spring is already in bloom here. Due to the Mediterranean-influenced climate, the vegetation is also particularly diverse. In addition to the wide variety of apple varieties cultivated around Naturno, fruits that are usually associated with locations further south are also grown. Some home gardens in Naturno grow figs and kiwis, grapes thrive at up to 900 m above sea level, and even lemons bloom here. This friendship with the sun shapes the area and its people, and helps culture and nature to blossom at their finest.

The weather is set to improve on Thursday. Whilst sunshine will prevail in the southern parts of the region, conditions will remain slightly changeable along the alpine crest. A gusty north wind will blow in some valleys. On Friday, it will remain partly sunny, with thicker clouds lingering at times in the northern parts of the region. Saturday will start off changeable in the north, but it will become sunny everywhere with summery temperatures as the day progresses. On Sunday, the mostly sunny and summery weather will continue.

A cold front will reach the Alps from the north-west, bringing unsettled weather.
The day will start with showers. Conditions will then improve temporarily. From the afternoon, the likelihood of thunderstorms, some of which may be severe, will increase.
Mountain weather tomorrow
Moist and unstable air masses are being drawn towards the Alps from the south-west.
Conditions in the mountains are adverse, with heavy cloud cover and, in places, heavy showers and thunderstorms. The snow line is dropping to around 2.500 m, and as low as 2.000 m along the alpine crest.
