The sunny and snow-guaranteed slopes of the 
Schnalstal Glacier ski area range from between 2,000 and 3,200m a.s.l.. 
A total of 42 km of runs at all levels are open to 
winter sports enthusiasts. Beginners will find 26 km of 
easy slopes and experts 16 km of more challenging slopes. A highlight for downhill racers is the eight km long 
downhill valley slope, also known as the 
Schmugglerabfahrt [Smuggler’s Trail]. The ski lifts in the Schnalstal Glacier ski area – two cable car, six chairlifts and four T-bar lifts – help guarantee comfortable ascents and short waiting times.
