When the days get shorter and you feel like pulling your cap over your ears all day, it's sauna time. After a mountain hike or an extensive day of skiing, the sauna is the icing on the cake. In our latitudes in South Tyrol, saunas are most common in winter, but there is nothing to be said against using them all year round! Regularity is the only way the body can really benefit from it. However, if you are going to the sauna for the first time, there are a few things you should know in advance.
