The Vigiljoch Hiking Area

A natural paradise for hikers, cyclists and families

The car-free Vigiljoch mountain, with its magnificent views over the Val d'Adige/Etschtal Valley to the Dolomites is a true natural paradise, and can be reached by cable car in only seven minutes. At 1,486m a.s.l., the hiking trails from the Vigiljoch Cable Car mountain station lead through larch forests and meadows to alpine pastures and mountain huts, to the Bärenbad mineral springs or the Schwarze Lacke mountain lake. The trails of Mount Vigiljoch enjoy great popularity among families with children, Nordic hikers and mountain bikers.

The 5-star vigilius mountain resort located next to the Vigiljoch Cable Car mountain station combines high-end design and modern amenities with environmentally sustainability.

1. Ideal for families: hiking with a stroller, petting zoo, viewing platform, and much more
2. Car-free nature reserve
3. Accessible directly from Lana
4. Sports variety in summer and winter
