In 2021, the LANA MEETS JAZZ festival will take place for the ninth time. Unfortunately, the 2020 festival had to be cancelled twice due to Covid 19. In 2021 it was postponed to June in the hope of holding as many concerts as possible outdoors. For safety reasons, rather small line-ups were invited, but with musicians like Franco D'Andrea, Thomas Gansch or Luciano Biondini, they guarantee a high artistic level. Lana Meets Jazz continues to be a stylistically wide-ranging musical experience, from classical swing to the new trends in jazz. New locations have again been found, including the Galanthus Garden Centre, Lorenzerhof Foundation, Goldegg Castle, the Capuchin Monastery Garden, the Battistel House. The festival takes place in cooperation with the Tourist Office Lana and environs, the Merano Jazz Academy, the Lana Library and Lanart.
