Shopping on hot summer eventings - June to August is the time of the "long shopping evenings" in the centre of Lana. These evenings are a meeting point for locals and guests to stroll and browse through the shops.

Shopping until late in the evening - this is what is on offer in Lana on the balmy summer evenings from 29 June to 17 August 2023: In the pedestrian zone Lana am Gries, visitors can look forward to eight "long shopping evenings" with shops open until 9 pm.

In the pedestrian zone, shopping becomes a very special experience: stroll through the pedestrian zone, discover a wide range of offers in the numerous shops, enjoy the evening... For a break in between, the cosy cafés and restaurants invite you to linger.

Sport and fun
When it comes to getting young generations moving, Lana combines two things above all: sport and fun! As part of "Lana23°°", a sprint competition for children will take place on 8 August. The event starts behind the pharmacy and then heads towards the Gaulschlucht gorge.

VSS Kids Sprint 2024
The fourth edition of the "Sport in the village" event will take place on 8 August. The various sections of SV Lana Raika invite children and young people - from 18.30 to 22.00 - to get to know the different sports and try them out. Active participants and curious spectators come together, from the football goal to the Yoseikan Budo pitch and the focus is always on the joy of sport. As part of the event, the VSS children's sprint will once again take place, where children and young people born in 2011 and younger can test their sprinting ability. Parents and other adults are also welcome to take part in the various events and sprint for the honours - generations united, fun doubled!
