The Texelgruppe Nature Park in the north, plus the upper reaches of Val d’Ultimo, offer plenty of possibilities for back-country skiing in unspoilt natural surroundings. Winter sports lovers can also find unexplored paths in an idyllic landscape near the Hohe Weisse in Val Passiria and the Laugen summit on the Passo Palade.
From experience, the best conditions for this are to be found between January and April.
