On balmy Friday evenings in summer Trauttmansdorff offers the ideal programme to get you in the weekend mood: a delightful extended aperitif by the Water Lily Pond with live music, guided evening tours and culinary delights at the Schlossgarten Restaurant.
Ideal for couples or groups of friends! Under the motto ‘Trauttmansdorff after work’, these evenings combine culinary and musical delights with exciting knowledge transfer.
In the Schlossgarten restaurant, you can enjoy local delicacies and the backdrop of the surrounding gardens. If you prefer a more convivial atmosphere, an aperitif with live music (from 20 June) awaits you in the Palmencafé by the water lily pond. Perhaps you would like to discover new facets of the garden in the mild evening light on a guided tour beforehand?
The Touriseum in Trauttmansdorff Castle stays open until 9 p.m. and offers an exciting journey of discovery through 250 years of tourism history!
The restaurant and bar, as well as the Touriseum, are open and the evening tour starts at 6.30 pm.

Bus numbers 1 and 4 depart at 20-minute intervals from the Merano/Meran town centre as well as the central railway station.

Almost all of the paths running through the gardens are wheelchair and stroller friendly; all stairs and grades over 8% are marked on the overview map. In the Visitors’ Center, manual and electric-powered wheelchairs are available for visitors, free of charge.
