The trio ‘Zimmer mit Aussicht’ combines vocals, piano, percussion and bass – with rhythm, harmony and a love of storytelling. Monika and Gabriel sing in English, German, dialect and Italian. ‘Zimmer mit Aussicht’ tells of songs and countries, of people and music, of singers and of seven days.
Once again, they set off on a journey through the musical universe and look beyond the horizon – in search of new songs, new stories and a new dialogue with the audience.
In 90 minutes, they tell of hard times in Brazil, of a dancing boxer and of an Englishman in New York. They treat us to songs in dialect, dream of hot-air balloons and celebrate the voluptuous curves of real women.
Beyond the horizon, we find songs that everyone knows and some that are unknown. But each one has a story worth hearing, which they present in their own humorous, poetic and thoughtful way: told, read, sung and played
