The Biedermannhof in Cermes (Tscherms) looks back on centuries of winemaking tradition. Wine has been cultivated on this historic estate since the Middle Ages, with vinification taking place in its impressive vaulted cellar. Today, the Innerhofer family continues this tradition with great passion, combining time-honoured craftsmanship with modern winemaking techniques.
The grapes are grown in the estate's own vineyards on the sunny slopes above Merano. With great care, they are transformed into characterful wines that reflect the diversity of South Tyrol – from the fresh and fruity Pinot Bianco and the aromatic Goldmuskateller to the elegant Lagrein Kretzer, as well as the expressive red wines Schiava, Lagrein Riserva, and the Gallus cuvée made from Merlot and Lagrein. Each wine bears the personal signature of the winemaking family and stands out for its authenticity, balance, and strong regional identity.
At the heart of the estate lies its approximately 500-year-old wine cellar, where the wines mature patiently and develop their full range of aromas. Every glass tells the story of a family-run winery that is deeply committed to tradition, sustainability, and the wine culture of South Tyrol.
