The Rosarum Flores ensemble and the Juventus Cantat vocal ensemble present Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio in a chamber music arrangement. The project, initiated by South Tyrolean singer Andrea Oberparleiter, brings the work in a smaller ensemble to unusual locations, making it accessible even in villages.
Four soloists perform both the arias and the choral movements, accompanied by a small instrumental ensemble. Through an introduction and the audience singing selected chorales together, the audience is actively involved in the performance.
