"Tiroler Platzl" - one of the biggest Tyrolean initiatives in the Tyrolean commemorative year 1809-2009.
Tiroler Platzl is one of the largest initiatives in the greater Tyrol region. The park in the center of Marling/Marlengo was redesigned as part of Tyrol’s 200th anniversary in 2009. Rocks from the respective parts of Tyrol and the historic map, which shows the greater Tyrol region, commemorate Tyrol’s common history.
The bus line 212 stopps directly in front of the monument "Tiroler Platzl" in the centre of Marling.
From Meran/Merano, Bolzano/Bozen or the Vinschgau Valley/Val Venosta into the centre of Marling.
On the public car parks in the center of Marling (next to the fire brigade and in the Traubenwirt's park) can be parked for free for 120 minutes (with parking ticket!). For a longer parking time parking tickets can be solved (0,50 € / hr), whereby two hours are always free.
