Bike Transport Merano – Val Venosta

Comfortably by train, shuttle or private service

Train services in the Vinschgau Valley have been partially resumed. On the Merano–Laas section, trains are now running regularly (partly hourly). Some connections in the morning and evening continue to operate along the entire route to Mals. Bicycle transport is permitted on these trains.
In addition, a rail replacement bus service remains in operation between Merano and Mals. Please note that bicycles are not allowed on these buses.

Additionally, a dedicated bike transport service is available: a minibus with a bike trailer will run four times daily between Merano and Mals, helping to ease pressure on the trains.

For the latest updates, we recommend checking the app or website of südtirolmobil.

Was ist gemeint? 🌰🔥

Time for “Keschtn”!🌰🍂

October is chestnut season in South Tyrol. Once ripe, the chestnuts fall to the ground, where they are gathered by hand and removed from their prickly husks. 🌿
Traditionally roasted over an open fire and best enjoyed while still warm, roasted chestnuts are an essential part of the Törggelen tradition. 🔥🌰🍷

Who else is looking forward to the first roasted chestnuts? 😊
