The Atelier Stefan Fabi is an art studio that primarily produces large-format woodcuts.
Woodcut is the oldest graphic printing technique, in which a relief-like wooden printing block is used to produce graphics.
The creative process is silent, solitary, the themes emerge from looking at life. Stefan Fabi came through painting to woodcutting, designs, develops and reduces his images to a simplified essential picture language. The artist often uses only a single line to design his works. This line must be clear and distinct so that it can later be processed into a woodcut or object. Simplicity and limiting the message to the essentials play a primary role here.
