Directions
You start at the Sandhof in St. Leonhard in Passeier (inn and museum) and follow trail no. 30 along the Passer River. The path leads you past the biotope to the bridge Auerbrücke.
Once there, the so called "Norggen", curious and small mythical creatures, accompany you through the landscape arrount the "Geierschütz".
After crossing the bridge, you follow the road on trail no. 5B slightly uphill to the farm Auerhof. It is worth taking a look at the wayside shrine along the path. Passing the farm, you reach the edge of the forest and arrive at a viewpoint with a beatiful view of St. Leonahrd and its surroundings.
From here, a forest path leads to a small clearing with illustrated legends, play stations and a picnic area. After that, you continue with the ascent through the small valley "Norggental" with a mine entrance and a forest hut.
Then a beautiful descending meadow path begins along trail no. 4, passing the "Fuchshäusl" and continuing on no. 4A to the water station.
Once you reach the asphalt road, you follow trail no. 6 towards St. Leonhard and reach the Enerpass power plant via small path. Here you will find information panels on the subjects of hunting, fishing, beekeeping and energy. Acces is always free.
The hike continues through the power plant area towards St. Leonhard, directly along the Passer River and finally returns to the starting point at Sandhof via the Gandellenweg no. 3A or the Passerweg no. 30.
The trail is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
