The spectacular and nearly 40 km long Jaufenpass mountain pass road, between Passeiertal Valley and the Wipptal Valley, is curvy and steep. It leads along curved roads from St. Leonhard up to the Jaufenpass mountain pass – with panoramic views of the Passeiertal Valley.
On the other side of the pass, the road winds downhill to Sterzing. Today, the more than one hundred year old pass road is a major tourist thoroughfare and a popular destination for cyclists.
