High altitude walks and mountain hikes

Between meadows, woods and alpine pastures up to the highest summits

In the alpine landscape of the Passeiertal Valley, experienced hikers who are steady on their feet will find excellent opportunities to discover the beauty and magnificence of the mountain world on wonderful day-long hikes or tours lasting several days. Through meadows, woods and alpine pastures, the well signposted trails lead up to summits offering fantastic views – the Hirzer mountain (2,781m), Kolbenspitze mountain (2,868m) and the Hohe Wilde mountain (3,480) to name just three. At the far end of the Passeiertal Valley, panorama trails offer views over the Texelgruppe mountains as well as the Sarntal and Ötztal Alps. From May to mid-October, you can enjoy a special highlight – summit walks with an experienced guide, leading you up to some of the most beautiful summits in the Passeiertal Valley.
