Masimba Hwati with Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński, author of the exhibition Aerolectics at Merano Arte, presents a performance dedicated to the exploration of breath, sound and resonances in relation to the story
of Asue, a young girl who was abducted from the slave trade and imprisoned in Brunico in a religious institution in the 19th century, is the protagonist of the current exhibition.

As part of the exhibition Aerolectics, Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński invites Nkisi to a sound performance that alludes to certain elements of the exhibition, in particular the Minkisi, fetishes that are widespread in large parts of Central Africa and are carriers of spiritual power. The music appears as an enchanted consciousness capable of materialising the narrative, according to the traditions inherited from the musical traditions of the African continent.
