Snowshoe Hike through the Tschamin Valley
Immerse yourself in the untouched wilderness of the Tschamin Valley with a snowshoe hike and enjoy the silent beauty of this pristine winter landscape, framed by the majestic peaks of the Rosengarten.
Tour Description:
We start the hike at the parking area of the cable car station in St. Zyprian (Tiers) and ascend to Runggun to the snowshoe gate. We continue across the Doss meadows into the Tschamin Valley, reaching the Rechter Leger. After a break, we cross the Tschamin stream and hike down on the other side of the valley back to the starting point.
Hiking Time: Approximately 5 hours
Ascent: Approximately 550 m
Descent: Approximately 550 m
Difficulty: Technically easy hike, good basic fitness required
Refreshment Stop: Untertrompedeller Schwiage hut
To bring along
Snowshoeing equipment must be brought by the participant.
If snow conditions do not require the use of snowshoes, we will inform participants via email the day before. In this case, we ask everyone to bring microspikes and appropriate mountain boots to ensure safety and comfort during the tour.
Please check your email the evening before the tour to make sure you have the correct equipment.
Participants who do not bring the required equipment unfortunately cannot take part in the hike for safety reasons.
