The trail downhill to the Wannser Alm pasture is very steep and narrow, but quite manageable. Once down at the lake, there are several beautiful places to enjoy.

Route description

From Wanns heading south to the edge of the forest (15), pass the Sailer Hof farmstead (on the left) crossing over the bridge. Keep going south for about 1 km on the little road that enters the valley (12, 15). Now cross over the stream to the left and climb northeast at first then southeast on the access road through the woods to the Seebergalm pasture and then Seebergsee lake (15). From Seebergsee lake continue along the wooded ridge (northeast) and down the steep slope in the woods to get to the Wannser Alm pasture in the Wannser Tal Valley (14a).
