Sledding in the Passeiertal Valley

Family fun on the toboggan run

Sledding has a long tradition in the Passeiertal Valley. As early as 1980, the sledding World Championships took place in Pfelders/Plan. Even today, World Cup competitions are held in the valley. Not only professionals but also amateurs can enjoy the sled runs. Children’s sledding in Walten/Valtina and Stuls/Stulles means joy and excitement for younger guests, while the fast sled run at the Grünbodenhütte mountain hut in Pfelders, will excite more athletic family members with an interest in sledding in the Passeiertal Valley.

In some sledding areas you have to pull your sled up the slope on your own. In other places, you can comfortably take the mountain railway up and enjoy the descent.
