Meran, in the beginning of March: Although mountain tops are still covered in white snow, on the promenade people are already enjoying their cappuccino in the warm sun rays of spring. Mild temperatures and a mediterranean climat kickstart an early spring in Meran and its environment. The wonderful weather invites to go outside, seeing the colorful blooming while taking a walk, hiking in the mountains and enjoying the calm power nature offers us at this time.

ONE BIG GARDEN
Just as nature shows itself in the most beautiful colors, so does the region of Meran. In the gardens of Schloss Trauttmansdorff uncountable tulips open their hearts and the new season, accompanied by all kinds of flowers. Around the old spa town, hiking trails lead through the pink-white splendor of the apple blossom, up to lush mountain meadows and beautiful waterfalls. Irrigation paths meander along ancient irrigation canals and provide unique views. It's like walking through one big garden. The same applies to the calendar of events. Under the motto "Spring in Meran", one highlight follows the next in the Passer town of Meran and its neighboring villages: flower festivals and markets, light spring cuisine, varied hikes, artistic garden views, workshops and music.
