🍷Winemaker portrait: Lukas Kapfinger - Hillepranter winery 🍇

His ancestors were already growing grapes at the Hillepranterhof. In 2021, Lukas took a new step: he began to process the grapes directly on the farm and market his wines independently.

🌱 Which grape varieties are grown? Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Vernatsch, Pinot Noir
🍷 Favorite variety? Pinot Noir - demanding, but that's what makes it so exciting.
🔥 Must-try? Pinot Noir - it reflects the special terroir of Marling.
🌞 What makes Marling wine unique? The climatic conditions: Morning sun and cool downslope winds in the evening and at night give the wines freshness and special aromas.
🍇 Favorite work in the vineyard? The grape harvest (wimmen)
✨ Most exciting moment of the year? The first tasting of the young wines - a special moment when you feel and taste for the first time what you have created over the year with so much dedication and hard work.
