Vineyard Gruberhof

Vineyard Gruberhof

The Gruberhof is located in the wine village Marling/Marlengo, near the trail Waalweg and was built in 1924. Originally, the farm served Mathias Gamper (Eckarter) as an old people's residence, who was the great-grandfather of the present farmer, Jakob Gamper.

From the beginning, the farm was extended from generation to generation and has been managed according to organic guidelines (Bioland) since 1995. There has always been a great interest in viticulture at the Gruberhof. By modernising the cellar, Jakob realises a childhood dream with the 2015 vintage and from now on markets his wines from the farm. The cultivation of fungus-resistant grape varieties (PIWI) can further reduce the use of biological pesticides. This is a great concern for our family business, as we work with a great love for nature.

The bus line 212 stopps directly in the center of Marling/Marlengo. From there about 20 min. up to the vineyard Gruberhof.
