The
mountain huts around Naturns are known for their
hospitality, traditional cuisine and
sunny terraces. Regional cuisine, including
dumpling soup (Knödelsuppe), typical South Tyrolean afternoon snacks of bacon and cheese with flatbread (Marende), Vinschger Paarlen and
apple strudel, is served here in
centuries-old farmhouse parlors.

In addition to the tastes of South Tyrolean cuisine,
the mountain huts and pastures in Naturns also often
offer rooms or lodging for weary travelers. The opening times of these shelters depend on weather and snow conditions, and therefore it is advisable to
check opening times in advance.
