Hut evening at the Mountain hut Maseben

After ascending with ski touring equipment or snowshoes, the door of the Maseben Mountain Hut opens and a warm wood stove welcomes you in the crisp winter air. The hut interior is rustic, cozy, and filled with the scent of freshly lit firewood. The hut keeper greets you with genuine hospitality – often with a glass of homemade schnapps, which tastes even better at 2,267 m.
During the à-la-carte hut evening, you can enjoy hearty South Tyrolean dishes, soups, warm specialties, and classic mountain fare. While the stars shine over the snow-covered Maseben mountains outside, you enjoy warmth, good food, silence, and the unique atmosphere that only a true high-altitude mountain hut can offer.

Arrival by private car via the SS 40 to Graun im Vinschgau, then continue towards Langtaufers to the Grub (Maseben) parking area.
The evening begins after an independent ascent with ski touring equipment or snowshoes (approx. 2 hours, 450 m elevation gain) along the marked winter trail to the Maseben Mountain Hut.
